So we've run in to the same dilemma that we had when we registered for our wedding: Little One's family is spread out all over the place and not everyone has a target or Babies R Us. In fact Babies R Us has all kinds of cool things, but it is only in Austin and St. Louis; Target has many really affordable and neat items, but it isn't in Fort Smith; Baby Depot is the big store in Little Rock but doesn't seem to be anywhere else; and there's a Wal-Mart in Fort Smith, but baby items seems to be the only thing that our Supercenter doesn't have much of! I know, I know . . . tough problem. So Blake and I decided to spread some stuff around so all of the grandparents could get to a store. That being said, all of these stores have on-line services to which this page will link. Babies R UsThe Babies R Us web site is operated by Amazon, so that actually makes things pretty easy. Furniture, bedding, decor, humidifier, swing, high chair, etc. Baby DepotBaby Depot is actually a part of the Burlington Coat Factory. It is a section of the store tucked away usually in the back left of the store. They have an amazing selection of cribs, car seats, and strollers. Here we registered for a Stroller/Car Seat combo, crib sheets, and some nursery decor. TargetWe found some things at Target that were really cool and affordable. We did find that some of the things are actually less expensive in the store as opposed to on-line. We registered for car seat (> 20 lbs.), a play yard, car shades, toys, a nursing pillow, bath stuff, diaper bags, and some first aid items. Wal-MartThe on-line version of the Wal-Mart registry looks a little weird but it works just like the others. We registered for a bath kit and tub, burp rags, monitors, bottles, toys, spoons, and cups. |
